SHORT BREAD COOKIES
The Cuban “Torticas de Moron” are the New World’s version of the Spanish cookies “Mantecadas”, brought over to the West Indies by the Spaniards during colonial times. Moron is the name of the town in the eastern part of Cuba, where the Cuban “mantecada” cookie originated, thus the name “Tarts from Moron”. In Puerto Rico, the island’s version of “mantecadas” were called “mantecaditos”, because of their smaller size. These cookies are found in most Latin American countries colonized by Spain. For the mainstream public in the U.S., they are a delicious sweet version of the English shortbread cookie. The cookies (1oz) are offered in a case with 14 oz packs, or in bulk (120 units/case).
Our shortbread cookies are a fusion of the traditional look, taste and size of the original Cuban version, with our magical crafting techniques and personal touch in the manufacturing process, which results in buttery, sweet, citrusy flavors, as well as a soft texture. No wonder it is not possible to just eat one! They are delicate delights like no other!

COCONUT MACAROONS
Macaroons are delicious treats that date back to a long European bakery tradition as early as the 9th century. As a result of the fusion of cultural traditions and flavors in the Americas, they have evolved to be more dense, moist and sweet and to feature a key flavor of the Americas: coconut.
Our unique recipe for this sweet treat has made it the big seller of this line, with a broad appeal beyond cultural and ethnic lines. We offer the Coquitos/Besitos de Coco in a 1.5 oz size, and in a mini version (.5 oz), plain and with chocolate chips. We also have seasonal varieties with confetti sprinkles, with colors for Christmas, Halloween, Valentine’s Day and Fourth of July. They come in a case with12, 21oz packs (about 14 macaroons in each pack), and in bulk (100 units per case, mini size: 430 units.)
CUBAN BISCOTTI COOKIES
This Cuban biscotti cookie, was developed by a bakery in the Havana neighborhood of San Francisco de Paula, and quickly became popular all over the city and island. The shape of the cookie looks like a flat bread roll, and thus the cookies were called “Panecitos (little rolls) from San Francisco”, for the town from which they hailed. This European style Biscotti cookie, with its distinct anisette flavor, is liked by all Latin American nationalities and by the mainstream American public, particularly southern residents originally from the Northeast where this type of cookies are very popular. Our Panecitos de San Francisco (1 oz) come in a case with 12 packs of 14 oz each (about 14 cookies), and in bulk (120 units).
We prepare for our daily door to door deliveries to turn food service establishments including restaurants, supermarkets, grocery stores and cafeterias to list a few, into a haven of goodies that regular consumers and visitors are expecting to taste.
